Service fees:

·         Public Cleaning Services fees are calculated according to the rates referred to in Articles (8) and (11) of table No. (6) attached to Local Order No. (11) of 2003.

·         25% of the Public Cleaning Services fees stipulated in the provisions of local order No. (11) of 2003 related to public health and community safety in Dubai, in case the service was provided by the private sector

e) Apply for a permit to dispose of hazardous and commercial waste and unwanted material.

·         Service fees vary according to the types of waste:

• Electric and electronic equipment: AED 50/ton
• Paper, documents, tapes, compact discs (CDs) and others: AED 150/ton
• Tobacco and cigarettes: AED 100/ton
• Alcoholic drinks: AED 300/ton
• Food unfit for consumption: AED 100/ton
• Cosmetics and health products: AED 5/Kg
• Bulky waste: AED 50/ton
• Medical waste for the governmental sector: AED 2/kg
• Medical waste for the private sector: AED 4/kg
• Disposal of solid waste: AED 50/ton
• Disposal of sludge waste: AED 10/1000 gallon
• Evaporation of liquid industrial waste: AED 100/ton
• Chemical or physical waste treatment or waste incineration: AED 150/ton
• Dumping of unpackaged waste in single-lined landfills: AED 150/ton
• Dumping of unpackaged waste in double-lined landfills: AED 200/ton
• Landfilling of waste drums in single-lined landfills: AED 200/ton
• Landfilling of waste drums in double-lined landfills: AED 250/ton
• Disposal of contaminated empty drums and containers: AED 150/ton
• Disposal of empty contaminated bags: AED 100/cu m
• Disposal of pressurized gas or aerosol cans: AED 400/ton
• Waste drums storage: AED 100/drum.

·         Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20.

Note: Any types of waste not mentioned above are assessed based on the consideration of the concerned in the Waste Department.

f) Apply for a new waste container or for changing its location
